With former and current World Champions Fahey and Fahey, alongside of other world-class entrants already signed-up to join us on this weekend we can safely say that our tournament’s reputation and prestige continues to precede itself but still needs your support to ensure that reputation endures!

While the Faheys’ and company’s extraordinary skills make the weekend what it is, much of the tournament’s reputation has less to do with the tennis and more about the generosity of you, our membership. Your contributions (large and small) are essential for the promotion and realisation of this event. They also go to support other initiatives at our Club, including National League and our much-lauded Junior Programme, which are crucial to Seacourt’s standing in the Real Tennis community – both the UK and worldwide. For National League and other national events, our club proudly fields almost wholly homegrown talent. Your contributions to this “Silver Racquet Fund” enables us to nurture our young talent and support them in national competitions. In this last year our juniors have have excelled: we are the current Peter Luck-Hille Cup (Junior Teams tournament) champions, William Flynn took individual honours as Under 14 National Champion and Under 18 Handicap Champion – narrowly beating Oliver Jameson in the former, Huw Thomas continues to represent well in his age group events, James Medlow was Under 12 runner-up, and Elliott Cotton & Jess Medlow were Under 18 Divisional Handicap Champions in the most recent tournament.

In short, we have every reason to believe your support is responsible for the position Seacourt talent currently occupies in the form of Bryn Sayers and Conor Medlow (and the like), but also ensures our successive generations enjoy the best platform that exists to success in our wonderful game.

Please make cheques payable to The Silver Racquet Fund and leave at reception for the attention of Jenny Paterson. Alternatively you could set up a standing order with:

Barclays, Silver Racquet Fund.  Sort code 20-69-34  Account number 40736104

Without your valuable support and contributions, Seacourt would not share the success or the achievements of which we are so proud.
