King Alfred Cup Winchester 2026

Seacourt’s pickleball team headed to Winchester for this year’s King Alfred Cup, stepping up a level after winning last year’s 3.0–3.5 category.

This year, the team entered the 3.5–4.0 category and faced tough competition from four clubs: PKB, Winchester Tornados and the Pickle Pirates.

Following 12 closely fought games using rally scoring, Seacourt narrowly missed out on second place. The competition then moved into the final team play-offs, with first and second battling it out and third and fourth going head-to-head.

Seacourt powered through their final matches to secure an excellent third-place finish.

A huge well done to the Seacourt team: Ross Wainwright, Matt Simpson, Charlie Evans, Kaylee Brasher, Nathan Brasher, Steven Young, Simon Flyn and Peter Hope.

A great team effort and another strong showing for Seacourt pickleball. We’re already looking forward to next year!
