Over the weekend of November 18th and 19th, the MCC Lord’s Real Tennis Club hosted the British Amateur Over 50’s Singles Open. The competition drew in a large number of participants, but only two players, Seacourt’s Luke Danby and Oxford’s Roman Krznaric, made it to the final on Sunday. As both players had similar handicaps, the final was set to be a close match. With a large crowd eagerly watching, they were treated to a high-quality game. In the end, Luke gave it his all and won the trophy in straight sets, with a final score of 6/2 6/0. Congratulations to Luke for his well-deserved victory!
