Peter Dawes Trophy

Seacourt held its first tournament of the new season, kicking it off with The Peter Dawes Trophy.

This event is a chance for parents/grandparents and children to play together with played off handicaps, we had some great matches!
Jane Grady & William New beat Matt and James Walker 8/5 followed by Matt & Alex Boulton squeaking past Matt & James 8/7!

The final was between Jane and Will and The Boultons, after a close match in the group stages against each other, here was another chance.
The Father/Son duo took off to a flying 3/0 lead before Jane & Will pulled a game back, a good match played in the best spirit with the Boultons securing the match 8/3! Very well played to you both.

Thank you to those who came to support the match and a special thank you to Peter Dawes himself for a wonderful speech and for presenting his trophy to the worthy winners!
