Celebrations and Fun at Seacourt
Love was well and truly in the air this weekend as members gathered for the Seacourt Fun Valentine’s Pickle Tournament.
Couples took to the courts for a lively doubles championship filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, and plenty of heart. The atmosphere was buzzing as partners teamed up for a celebration of sport, community, and a little healthy competition. Spectators were treated to some fantastic, nail-biting pickle games, with rallies that had everyone on the edge of their seats.
After a series of closely fought matches, medals were awarded to three deserving pairs. Bronze went to Adrian and Lora, silver to Ross and Lauren, and taking home Pickle Gold were Nathan and Kaylee, who delivered a truly winning performance under pressure.
Adding to the celebrations, Seacourt Chairman Nick Atkins presented the prestigious Seacourt Cup to Ross Wainwright in recognition of his dedication to raising the profile of the pickleball community and championing the sport within the club.
With smiles all round and plenty of Valentine’s cheer, the tournament was a perfect reminder that at Seacourt, it’s not just about winning, it’s about friendship, fun, and sharing the love of the game.
